First Creation is a contemporary-gospel recording group that was originated 19 years ago in the city of Toledo, Ohio. When its founder, Jerry Boose, realized a void in the gospel music scene in Toledo for the contemporary music sound, he called upon three friends to help establish First Creation. From the beginning, in 1988, Jerry has maintained that there is a need for ministry among the men of our day that calls for us to remedy with an option of being a messenger for today. First Creation has made the decision to be a group that ministers to the destitution of the hearts and souls everywhere.
First Creation has performed throughout the country at various Gospel and Jazz concert venues, Gospel Television Programs, Cable TV specials, Church musicals, annual City Festivals and Community Interest Showcases. Some featured accomplishments: • Currently releasing their fourth CD “ Nobody Like Jesus” • Three appearances on Bobby Jones Gospel national TV show • Featured on the 2003 Word Network’s Bobby Jones Gospel Retreat / Las Vegas • Three time Lake Erie West People’s Choice Award Winner’s for gospel music group • 2005-06 1st round nominees for Stellar Awards • 2006 SoulTracks Readers Choice Awards nominee best gospel group of the year • 2006 Ensound awards nominee for best gospel group of the year.
